"SWEET ELBERETH!"
Ereinion jumped at the sudden outburst that came from the bathroom and was on his feet immediately, heading over to the closed bathroom door. He knocked on it and called quietly, "Elrond? Are you alright?"
There was no answer, so Ereinion pushed open the door and walked inside. Elrond stood at the vanity, leaning over to be as close to the mirror as possible as he held up a section of hair for inspection. His eyes crossed slightly as he regarded the strands in front of his face, and Ereinion walked over to him, slightly confused. "What's the matter?"
"Look!" Elrond gestured at his hair. Ereinion couldn't see anything that was wrong, but the half-elf seemed distraught at whatever it was so the older elf waited patiently for elaboration, knowing that it would have to come soon. When Elrond decided to enlighten the former King, Ereinion had to try his hardest not to burst out laughing.
"My hair," Elrond exclaimed. "It's grey!"

Nearly everything I've submitted recently has been very angsty, so here's a bit of humour to lighten it up.
It was inevitable, really. After all, he did raise four kids
This doesn't fit in to any story arc...at the moment it's just a standalone. I might reference it later though, coz it's funny XD It's set before the Lord of the Rings, but Ereinion's back because...well, just because
He seemed to fit better than Glorfindel, Erestor or Celebrían
Elves have such un-fun curses. I wanted to have him say "Holy shit!" but that's a little too OOC. If anyone knows a better one please let me know

For cursing elves... well I think it is quite funny to "invent" curses... my favorit at the moment is:
